Following recent short musical assessments in St. Peter's carried out by the choral department in St. Mary's, we are delighted to announce that 16 of our pupils in 1st class (Ms. Doran's and Ms. Currams') have been selected to audition for the St. Mary's Cathedral Palestrina choir and the Girls' Cathedral choir.
The Palestrina Choir and Girls' Cathedral choir are amongst the best choirs in Dublin if not in Ireland and if any of our pupils are successful in their vocal audition, the musical education received by choristers at St Mary’s Cathedral is second to none and will stand to them all their lives.
We wish the boys and girls who attend for audition the best of luck.
