Glanmore have recently refreshed their hot school lunch menu! Swipe through their step-by-step guide in the news section of the website to learn how to place a new menu order on their app.
Please place an order for their new menu by Thursday, May 7th, at 2pm, so your child continues to receive a school lunch. Orders associated with the old menu will not be processed after May 8th.
This week we explored the topic of Capacity in 3rd class. We started off by talking about what we already knew about capacity and why we need to know about the capacity of containers for cooking, travelling and so much more! We used different containers (yogurt pots, cups and a mini frying pan) to explore how many of each container we would need to fill 1l (1000ml), 1/2l (500ml), 1/4l (250ml) and 3/4l (750ml). We also talked about how the container must be full each time to get an accurate answer! We then practiced our number skills by adding and subtracting l and ml.
