Grangegorman Playground updates
Good afternoon,
As a local Dublin 7 primary school, we’d like to keep you updated on some exciting improvements coming to the Grangegorman site. In early January 2026 the Grangegorman playground will be getting a fresh new surface and a brand-new mobility swing!
We’ve put together a project factsheet that contains the works details and some information on alternative local playgrounds in the area. In addition to this, we have also created a scavenger hunt, to encourage explorative play throughout the entire Grangegorman site.
Both documents are attached as pdfs and it would be a huge help if you could share this information through your communication channels — whether that’s your website, social media, newsletters, or anything else — so we can spread the word far and wide. We will also be sharing all these details on our own GDA digital channels too.
At the playground site, signs will be put up to let visitors know about the temporary closure timeline, a QR code link to the scavenger hunt and a notice about contractor vehicle movement in the area during the works.
All information can be found on the project page of our website
