We had a lot of fun doing this science experiment which explored the effects that different drinks have on our teeth. We used eggs to complete this experiment as eggs have a similar makeup to our teeth and have a similar reaction to acidic drinks. We put a hard boiled egg into water, milk, juice, Coca Cola and sugar free Sprite. We made sure to use 500ml of each liquid to make it a fair test. We left the eggs in the liquids for one week and then checked our results. We were really surprised to see that the orange juice had one of the most damaging effects on the egg. As we predicted, water is the healthiest drink for our teeth! We can't wait to do more science experiments soon!
