Spaghetti and Marshmallow Towers

At the end of November, Ms. Donegan did a science activity in our class.  In groups, we had to build the tallest structure we could using spaghetti sticks and mini-marshmallows.  We had to think carefully about how to do this.  We had to ensure that the structure was freestanding.  After a few attempts, we realised that we had to have a strong and stable base in order to build a tall structure.
