5th class violin 🎻 and piano prodigy celebrates successes at Feis Ceoil 2023

Our of our accomplished violinists and pianists in Ms. Hughes’ 5th class will perform at the Dublin Feis Ceoil finals on Tuesday, 21st of March in the Junior Violin D section. We wish her the very best of luck. We will upload some videos of her performing following the finals. 

We are delighted to announce that after extremely high junior violin competition, she finished in joint 4th place (Highly Commended) out of 34 candidates. The Feis Ceoil is Ireland’s leading classical music competition so we are so proud that she managed to do so well on her first outing. Congrats. 

She will also be competing in the John Field Solo piano competitions (U-15) and the Pianoforte D section within the next week. Best of luck.

We are so proud to announce that after an extremely tough competition, where she faced 32 other competitors (some as old as 15 years old) she managed a hugely impressive joint 4th place (Commended). That’s now 2 placings in her two competitions entered so far. 

We wish her the best of luck on Friday, 31st of March when she enters against 69 other candidates in the piano D competition
