St. Peter's before and after school programmes for 2024-2025 (as of the 17/9/24)

The following are a list of after school activities with a fee attached for parents. Please contact the teachers/staff members directly (they will have provided you with dedicated email addresses on permission slips) with regard to fee paying programmes/activities and not the office. 

  • Lego Club for 1st to 3rd class will run for 12 weeks starting on September 9th (from 2:30-3:30) led by Ms. Doran and Ms. McGrath.
  • Tin Whistle for 3rd to 6th  class begins on September 17th (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks with Ms. Concannon and Miss Kirrane.
  • STEM club for 2nd  to 4th class starts on September 19th  (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks  with Ms. Kirrane and Ms. Concannon.
  • Art Club for 4th to 6th class  begins on September 19th (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks with Mr. McConigley and Sally (SNA).
  • Art Club for 1st to 3rd class begins on September 16th (from 2:30-3:30) with Sally (SNA) and Miss Vaughan
  • Chess and Board Games for 2nd to 6th class starting on September 17th (from 2:30-3:30) with Ms. Hughes (HSCL) and Sally (SNA)
  • Dance Club for 4th to 6th class starting on September 17th (from 2:30-3:30) with Ms. McDermott and Ms. McCabe (Change of starting date will be confirmed. Tutors will be in contact in advance).
  • Baking Club for 1st to 3rd class starting on September 19th (from 2:30-3:30) with Ms. O’ Driscoll and Ms. Carley
  • Soccer Club for 3rd and 4th class starting on September 19th (from 2:30-3:30) with Ms. Tierney and Ms. McCabe
  • Drama classes for Junior and Senior Infants from 1:30-2:15 and 1st/2nd classes from 2:30-3:30pm (started on the 11th of September). 3rd-6th classes from 2:30-3:30. Started on the 12th of September. 

The following before/after school programmes/activities will be run free of charge to students.

  • School choir for 3rd-6th class pupils (Day and time to be confirmed) with Ms. Kirrane, Ms. McCabe and Ms. Dignam.
  • Junior Olympic Handball for 3rd and 4th classes (Day and time to be confirmed as well as coaches).
  • Homework club for a limited number of pupils from 3rd-6th classes (starting dates and times to be confirmed as well as teachers).
  • Breakfast club for a very limited number of pupils (starting dates and times to be confirmed).
  • After school orchestra (for a limited number of pupils- some new members will be offered places this year) starting on Monday, 23rd of September from 2:30-3:30 with Ciara and Mary (strings' tutors)
