Boys and girls are learning about the lifecycle of a chicken.
Thanks to Nore Valley farm, St Peter’s are looking after some eggs.
They have to stay in an incubator to keep them safe and warm.
After 21 days they will hatch into chicks.
We get to mind them for a few days after they hatch.
Thank you to Ms Vaughan’s, Ms McGrath’s and Ms Horan’s classes who are taking extra special care of them upstairs!
We can’t wait for them to hatch and name the chicks.
