Correspondence regarding the use of E-scooters from An Garda Siochána
I’m contacting you on behalf of An Garda Síochána to bring the attached to your attention. The purpose of this engagement is to highlight and raise awareness of the relevant legislation concerning the use of electric scooters (e-scooters) by children and young people and that school authorities are encouraged to communicate this information, as appropriate, to students, parents and wider school community.
I’d be grateful if this information could be disseminated to parents and guardians to raise awareness in relation to their use and Garda enforcement.
