Christmas Door Competition
In preparation for Christmas, all staff took part in our annual Christmas Door Competition, organised by Debbie (SNA). Our designed a winter snow globe, which featured all children with a snowball in hand ready for action under the title "It's Snowtime!" Amongst a few other classes, our class was one of the winning doors much to our delight.
Angel Express (Christmas Nativity Play)
Throughout December, a huge amount of time and preparation went into the production of our Christmas Nativity Play called "Angel Express", which took place in St. Peter's Church.
The children worked very hard remembering their lines, songs and actions. They all looked fantastic in their little costumes and put on a brilliant show from start to finish. We were all so proud of them and I'm sure all parents/families were too. Little stars in the making!
Christmas Jumper Day/Bake Sale (Friday 16th December)
While Christmas is a joyous time for most, it is also a time of great difficulty for many too
We held a little fundraising Bake Sale/Jumper Day in school in the run up to Christmas in an attempt to raise money for two charities close to our hearts i.e. Focus Ireland and St. Vincent de Paul.
This would have been impossible without the help of parents and families who took time to bake and donate. Thank you all!
