End of term assemblies, Feel Good Friday and Easter Egg raffle
To mark the end of Tern 2, we had two very exciting assemblies in the halla as we celebrated/recognised many recent achievements from swimming gala medals to Adithyan in 6th class coming 4th in the Dublin finals of the Easons’ Spelling Bee.
Our cross country athletes also performed very well (in difficult conditions) in the Parkside Cross Country competition on Wednesday, bringing home two medals. Well done to Cian in 5th class and Tom in 4th class.
We had three pupils in 5th class reaching the Taekwondo All Ireland finals with Darius and Eduardo winning bronze medals. Victoria was the first person in her Taekwondo club to bring home gold and become the All Ireland Champion- congratulations Victoria. We even have an Irish Dancer (Bella) taking part in the World Championships in Irish Dancing this weekend in America. We wish her the best of luck.
We wish many pupils the best of luck with upcoming competitions/events over the break.
We also focused on wellbeing, attendance in both assemblies and discussed mobile phone usage in the senior assembly.
A big well done to all of our attendance certificate and prize winners for Term 2! Well done everyone! 👏
Friday marked another Feel Good Friday in the yard to continue the theme of wellbeing.
After the break, Mr. Ryan circulated with Easter Eggs for one lucky boy and one lucky girl in each class.
It was a very busy but productive day.
Have a great break everyone.
