We were blessed to have a beautiful sunny day for our First Holy Communion ceremony on the 11th of May. The boys are girls were so excited that their big day had finally arrived. We would like to thank Fr. Devlin and the staff of St. Peter's church, our pastoral workers, Collette (our secretary who prepared the booklet) and our SNAs (Debbie and Helen who prepared the church). We would also like to sincerely thank our school's chamber choir as well as their directors Ms. Kirrane, Ms. Dignam and Ms. McCabe and our soloists (Kiara and Leah) for leading 'You Raise Me Up'. A special word of thanks to Ms. Oliver (Communion co-ordinator) and Ms. Beirne (2nd class teachers) as well as Ms. Vaughan (our Religious Education co-ordinator) for all the hard work they have done in preparation for today as well as Helen and Debbie also. Thanks to Ms. Vaughan, Dalinda Todoran and Ms. O' Driscoll for organising and helping with refreshments in the church gardens. Last but by no means least, a huge congratulations to our boys and girls in 2nd class who made their First Holy Communion today. They are of course supported by their wonderful parents/guardians, family members and friends.
