Things got a little spooky in room 9 on the lead-up to Halloween. We set up a potion lab for one of our Aistear stations where the children pretended to be different characters, such as wizards and witches and worked together to make potions and spells. We also had lots of fun carving a class pumpkin. The children took turns scooping out the seeds and pulp. On Friday the 25th October we had a Halloween dress up day. There were lots of super costumes on display. We played lots of games and made rice crispy buns for a Halloween treat.
