Admissions/Enrolments to St. Peter's National School for the 2026/2027 school year - Admissions/Enrolments to St. Peter's National School will commence from the 1st of October (at 9:30am) and will close on the 19th of December 2025 (5pm) Please see home page and parents' section for more details. On Saturday, 10th of February 2024, our 23 orchestra members (along with Ciara and Ms. Oliver) were involved in what can only be described as a once in a lifetime experience when they took to the stage of the National Concert Hall as part of a 100 strong member collaborative ensemble. I think the images and videos below speak for themselves. The boys and girls were preparing for this magical occasion for the past number of months and they didn't disappoint as part of the biggest youth orchestra to ever grace the stage of the National Concert Hall.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our staff, SNAs, Derek and Collette who provide great support each week to ensure the effective running of our magnificent strings' project. Thanks to all of our wonderful parents for the support (particularly over the last two weeks with our trip to Wexford at the end of January and our Concert Hall adventure on the 10th of February). A special word of thanks to Mary (our cello tutor) and to the magnificent Ciara (our overall strings' project tutor). Last but by no means least, our fabulous musicians. I know they thoroughly enjoyed the day and I hope their memories and experiences (from the 10th of February 2024) will be imprinted on their minds into the future.
