This week in Ms. Gavaghan’s sixth class we were working hard on our times tables for maths week 2022. The children came 55th overall in the online ‘Ireland Rocks Times Tables’ competition out of 1,163 classes in Ireland. As a school, we came 24th out of 329 schools. This is a huge achievement for 6th class as they were competing against schools, who had 2/3 classes entered against our one. The children had to compete in online tournaments each day, working on their tables and using their knowledge of Maths to earn points for their class! A huge team effort was shown and a lot of fun was had! Ms. Gavaghan is very proud of her class! Maith sibh !!!
