Admissions/Enrolments to St. Peter's National School for the 2026/2027 school year - Admissions/Enrolments to St. Peter's National School will commence from the 1st of October (at 9:30am) and will close on the 19th of December 2025 (5pm) Please see home page and parents' section for more details. Enrolment forms will be available from the 1st of October 2025.
October was a particularly busy month for all of us in preparation for the WSE. 'School' and 'An Scoil' was the theme for oral language in both English and Gaeilge this month. A role-play area featuring a small classroom was set up, which the pupils really enjoyed playing the roles of all those who help us in schools e.g. teachers, principal, cleaners and caretakers etc.
We managed to complete our Sponsored Walk earlier in the month. Thanks again to everyone for their very generous donations. Much appreciated.
We also went on an Autumn Walk over to Shandon Park to observe some of the beautiful autumnal colours and changes that occur during this season. We had to complete an observational checklist in our Explorers book when we returned to school. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk!
