On Wednesday, 16th of March, Eoin from Olus Education visited 4 of our classes to co- teach and support our staff in developing the pupils’ digital literacy skills. For the last three years Olus have been offering valuable support to our staff in developing pupils knowledge of not only digital technologies but how digital technology can be integrated into all subject areas.
Our main focus at the moment in on the app- Book Creator Comics. All of our pupils are familiar with Book Creator but now they are developing additional literacy and artistic skills to create their own digital comic books on their I pads. Students in 5th and 6th class are doing the equivalent on their chrome books.
We thank Eoin for visiting today and Gavin for their support as well as our 4 class teachers who provided their classrooms for today’s digital sessions.
