On Thursday, 13th of February, our junior Olympic Handball boys’ team took part in the Dublin semi-finals. We were facing stiff competition in the form of our group rivals St. Attracta’s, Dundrum. On the day, the boys were overpowered and fell short. In the 3rd/4th place play-off, we were pitted against Kildare E.T.N.S. whom we had defeated in the group stages. Due to the fact that we were missing two very important players and a strong start by Kildare, our boys were defeated in the end. It was a marvellous achievement to reach the Dublin finals and St. Peter’s would like to thank the boys’ and girls’ teams, their parents and especially their coaches- Ms. Carroll (girls) and Ms. Casey (boys).
