On Tuesday, 14th of May we had a whole school assembly in the hall to announce the winners of our St. Peter's Got Talent competition. The standard was very high and our three judges had a difficult task choosing 20 winners out of over 60 acts. Our prize winners can be seen in the gallery menu.
A number of our pupils were invited to receive their STAR awards last week. Awards were presented in a number of disciplines such as Academic, Art, Dance, Music, Sport, Drama, Involvement in the Community. Ms. H. Horan and Ms. Kelly accompanied our 9 award winners. There was also a past pupil award for Saptha. The awards were presented by Mr. John Lonergan.
We are extremely proud to announce that on Tuesday, 4th of June, two of our 6th class pupils (Bana and Tiya) were inducted into the Cór na nÓg (National Children's Choir). The girls first auditioned in January 2019, progressing past the individual auditions and then onto 6 weeks of gruelling training choir sessions. Cór na nÓg (click the link) is Ireland's premier choir performing all over Ireland and beyond. Well done to the two girls. Their hard work has paid off!

On Monday, 10th and Tuesday, 11th of June, we welcomed a huge number of parents as part of our bi-annual strings' project open days. Thanks to Ciara, our pupils and teachers for all the wonderful hard work over the course of the past year.
We were also very fortunate to welcome Olympic rower and past pupil, Claire Lambe who visited Ms. Horan's 5th class on Monday, 10th of June. Ms. Horan's class are taking part in the 'Dare to Believe' programme endorsed by our former past pupil. Images of Claire's visit are available to view in Ms. Horans' 5th class page!!
