Results of our First Marine Survey

25th Jan 2024

Look at the results of our first “Marine Environment Survey”

Although we already know a good bit about Marine litter, we all agreed there is still a lot more to learn. We will repeat this survey next year and see how much we learned!

Over the next few months we plan to:

  1. Learn more about the Marine Environment- sea creatures, sea plants and why oceans are important.
  2. Raise awareness about how plastic/ marine litter can impact the sea.
  3. In school promote alternative solutions to plastic-eg reusable water bottle, less packaging in lunch boxes, paper straws etc
  4. In school we can reuse plastic materials for art projects.
  5. Organise a sea/canal clean up.
