Look at the results of our first “Marine Environment Survey”
Although we already know a good bit about Marine litter, we all agreed there is still a lot more to learn. We will repeat this survey next year and see how much we learned!
Over the next few months we plan to:
- Learn more about the Marine Environment- sea creatures, sea plants and why oceans are important.
- Raise awareness about how plastic/ marine litter can impact the sea.
- In school promote alternative solutions to plastic-eg reusable water bottle, less packaging in lunch boxes, paper straws etc
- In school we can reuse plastic materials for art projects.
- Organise a sea/canal clean up.
