Sacrament of Confirmation Celebrations

Friday, 7^th of February was a very important day for the 5^th and 6^th class boys and girls as we celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation in St. Peter’s Church. Approximately 60 pupils had been preparing since October so they were very excited when the day finally arrived. Thanks to Fr. O’ Cuiv (celebrant on the day), Fr. Eamon Devlin (parish priest), Fr. Joseph and Kevin (pastoral worker) and the staff of St. Peter’s Church. Thanks to our 4^th class Confirmation Choir, their teachers (Ms. Hand and Ms. H. Horan) as well as our additional special friends who sang on the day. A particular word of thanks to our 4 class teachers- Ms. Holohan, Ms. A. Horan and our lead teachers- Ms. Carroll and Ms Hughes who put in huge amounts of effort and preparation in advance of the ceremony.
