SARI (Sport Against Racism Ireland) offers:
free, sports-based anti-discrimination workshops for children and young people to raise awareness about racism, sexism, and homophobia.
These workshops use football (soccer) games to teach about discrimination, respect, and fair play, and are delivered by SARI coaches and young leaders, many of whom have ethnic minority backgrounds. The program aims to provide new perspectives, equip participants to identify discriminatory behavior, and apply these learnings to their daily lives.
We were very lucky to host SARI on Thursday, 16th and Friday, 17th of October to visit our 4th, 5th and 6th classes.
