Here in Room 23 we have been looking at how sound energy is created and how it passes through a variety of materials. Take a look at our stringed instruments in which we explored variation in pitch when the elastic band is stretched vs relaxed. We also examined whether the different dyes of the elastic bands would have an impact on the pitch. We also created our own string telephones and practiced calling our friends! Well done to all!
