On 8th October 2019, we went to Dublin Zoo on our sponsored walk. Fiona was our tour guide in the zoo. The main focus of our tour was rainforests and biodiversity. We saw lots of animals during our visit; tortoises, sloths, monkeys, tapirs, elephants, orangutans and many others. We had to be very careful walking under the orangutans' climbing ropes! We learned many facts about Dublin Zoo and the animals in it, such as, the wild boar was the first animal that was brought into Dublin Zoo and that an oryx can live for ten months without water! We thoroughly enjoyed our sponsored walk.
