Admissions/Enrolments to St. Peter's National School for the 2026/2027 school year - Admissions/Enrolments to St. Peter's National School will commence from the 1st of October (at 9:30am) and will close on the 19th of December 2025 (5pm) Please see home page and parents' section for more details. Enrolment forms will be available from the 1st of October 2025.
Sixth class learned about St.Brigid and and her links to Leinster. They also listened to a number of myths, traditions and legends that have been passed down through the generations such as hanging a piece of cloth/clothing out on the eve of St. Brigid’s day for it to be blessed.
We then made St.Brigid's crosses out of straws. The children learned about the significance of the crosses and their link to the 4 seasons.
