On the 18th of December, we welcomed hundreds of parents into the hall for St. Peter's for the first of our two open days. Our orchestra hosted an open rehearsal for parents and guardians after school. See videos attached. Our orchestra performed two pieces- The Wild Rover Waltz and Finlandia by Sibelius. There were also performances from Ciara and Mary (our two tutors), our 1st violin trio played Pachelbel's Canon and our orchestra leader played Vittorio Monti by Csárdás. 

We would like to thank all of our boys and girls for working so hard over the past number of months, all of our staff, Derek and our team of SNAs, Ms. Vaughan and our support teachers for serving refreshments today on the 18th of December and of course our two amazing teachers Ciara and Mary. Last but by no means least, our amazing orchestral players who have been really thrown in at the deep end this year- learning to play very difficult music in preparation for our Festival of Youth Orchestras performance in the National Concert Hall on the 10th of February 2024- we wish them all the best of luck.
