We have been having the best time in 3rd Class this week with lots of activities organised for Literacy Week!
•We engaged in some paired reading with Ms. Concannon’s 2nd Class which the children have been thoroughly enjoying.
•Yesterday we also took part in a Zoom read aloud and draw along with some famous Irish authors and illustrators.
•The children loved dressing up as their favourite story character too and getting into character throughout the day.
•Today we have a writer visit where we can ask lots of questions about reading and writing!
•Today concludes our reading of The BFG by Roald Dahl so we will have a look at the film version at the end of the day! 🍿
