We had a great day in school today. We had a large number of parents reading to our pupils in junior and senior infants on Thursday and Friday.
Some of our senior classes paired up with our junior classes for buddy reading. Ms. O’ Driscoll’s 4th class paired up with Ms. Kirrane’s junior infants for some co-reading time. Ms. Brosnan’s 2nd class linked up with Ms. Oliver’s junior infants and Ms. Beirne’s 5th class joined Ms. Currams’ 1st class.
Author Anthony Garvey zoomed into classes and a lot of our staff got into the spirit of the occasion also.
A special word of thanks to Noah’s mam in Ms. Kirrane’s junior infants whose fabulous face painting skills delighted the class.
