School correspondence-5th of May 2021

5th May 2021

Please read the following important messages from the school:

1. Under no circumstances should children be sent to school if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 (new/dry cough, high temperature, loss of taste or smell etc.) If you are in any doubt, inform the office, call your GP and keep your child at home.

2. Could all parents please wear a face covering when waiting outside the school grounds. A number of parents (particularly opposite entrance 2) are not following this guidance. Community transmission is still very high and we have instructed parents (on numerous occasions) to wear face coverings at all times. Please do so from now on.

3. Please ensure that you don't congregate in groups opposite the school (particularly opposite entrance 2). If waiting to enter Entrance 2, please distance along the length of Cabra Park before your child enters.

4. We will let parents who enter via Entrance 2 and 3 know when our scooter racks have been installed.

5. In relation to our school book publication, emails have been sent to parents regarding your child's image in the book. No child will have their name accompanying the image. Any parents who have not provided consent for their child's image in the book have been accommodated. If any other parent does not give consent for their child's image to be in the school publication, please email me at rryan@stpetersns.net. We hope to have our publication finished by the beginning of June '21.

6. Well-being week takes place next week (10th-14th of May) in the school. There will be a range of activities carried out over the course of the week. Please check out the school website for regular updates on what is happening in St. Peter's N.S.

Thanks for your co-operation in all of the above matters.

R. Ryan and staff of St. Peter's N.S.
