A note from the Principal… March was an action packed month!!!!
Our school orchestra finished second (missing out on first for the third year in row by a single mark) in the Wesley Feis on 2nd of March. We had a marvellous celebration of cultúr Gaeilge, songs, dance, music and drama as part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations from 11th-15th of March. We also had our very first (tráth na gCeist (Quiz) as Gaeilge) .On May 5th, the Boys and Girls from our second classes will receive First Holy Communion. It will be a very special day in the children’s lives and a big “thank you” to Ms. Glennon, Ms. Hand, Ms, Quaine and the chamber choir for all the hard work in preparation for this lovely sacrament. Well done to all our Cross Country Athletes also and “thank you” to Ms. H. Horan, Ms A. Horan, Ms. Vaughan and Ms. C. Ryan for all the hard work in preparation for the event. We also thank Ms. A Horan, Ms. Vaughan and Ms. C. Ryan as they prepare our athletes for Santry Athletics in May.
Our school orchestra will once again perform in St. Peter’s Church on Sunday, 31st of March 2019 at 4p.m. This is a benefit concert for the St. Peter’s Strings’ project. All are welcome to attend

A note from the Principal...
February 2019
Even though February was a short month, we’ve managed to pack a lot of activities into our days. We celebrated our very first Well-being/Anti-Bullying week from 11th – 15th February which was a tremendous success. Our 2nd Class pupils started their preparation for First Communion with the celebration of Confession on 14th February. Congratulations to our Boys’ Olympic Handball team on reaching the Dublin Finals. Our string orchestras will perform in Wesley Feis on 2nd March while World Book Day takes place on Thursday, 7th March.
Our Child Safeguarding and Risk Assessment Statements are available to view in the office while our new website is under construction.

A Note from the Principal
January 2019
January kicked off to a brilliant start with our annual Book Fair. The pupils bought over €4,000 worth of books so happy reading everybody!!!
We’ll have an action-packed February also with our First Penance in 2nd Class and our anti-bullying/wellness week from 11th-15th of February. Our Senior boys’ Olympic Handball team will compete in the Dublin finals at the end of February and our school orchestra are aiming to win Wesley Feis for the third year in a row!!!.
Please note that we are currently updating our school website and it should be launched within the three months or so.
It’s not long now until the mid-term break so we’ll keep the spring in our step! Thanks to everyone as always for all the co-operation.
